How are Trans4 rates designed and quoted?
  Trans4 handles significant volumes of freight by both road and rail. We leverage this volume in our negotiations with corporate sister asset based divisions, contracted motor carriers, and railroads. The design of our quotes is flexible to meet the requirements of our clients. We are able to simplify the rating structure by providing either a per skid rate (L.T.L) or a flat rate per truckload in either Canadian or U.S. funds.

  Trans4 has a time-tested formula for what makes a transportation service successful. Our many long-term clients are a testament that it works. We have an experienced team of sales and operations personnel positioned to react; a management team that creates the framework, provides support, and establishes reliability in our programs. As a group we continually communicate with customers, shippers, carriers, and industry associations so we can be up to date on the latest technology and the best practices for our industry. What sets Trans4 apart from all the other transportation service providers?
  Although Trans4 is part of one of the largest Canadian transportation companies serving the North American continent, we are also a subsidiary small enough to provide a high level of customer service. Our rates are confirmed in writing, in simple terms. We contact the shipper to confirm the pick-up arrangements and trace each and every shipment throughout its' transit, including verification of delivery. An accurate invoice with the required support documentation is prepared for the customer. Various tracking reports can be generated indicating service levels and shipping patterns; reports can also be created providing historical details. Every shipment represents the fundamental principal of Trans4.
